TAFE Mental Health Symposium - Session 1 ANXIETY Maria Pau facilitated a Mental Health Symposium at Toowoomba TAFE and this slide is about anxiety. It is Session 1 for the day's events. It was held at Toowoomba TAFE May 30, 2018 from 8:45am to 3pm and Bundamba or Ipswich TAFE June 6, 2018 from 8:45am to 3pm Maria recounted to the audience what anxiety looks and feels like and how vital a holistic look at mental health is so one can identify where the panic attacks or anxiety symptoms are coming from. Maria also explained the contributing factors to anxiety issues such as: domestic violence bullying alcohol and drug use body image issues financial stress social disconnection etc. Maria Pau facilitated the day's session. She is the founder of multiple award winning charity, Coaching with Substance. She is also an multiple international best selling author and currently in the last semester of her doctoral (PhD level) studies at USQ studying the impact of collaborative peer recovery coaching in people with severe and complex co-morbid multiple addiction issues.
