"Introduction to Evidence Synthesis": Professor Rumona Dickson's presentation provided an overview of evidence synthesis and a platform to refine questions that participants wanted to answer related to their own clinical practice. The workshop also included information detailing how teams of health care professionals might access support for addressing their clinical review questions through the CPD programme of the CLAHRC NWC.
Examining Pediatric Resuscitation Education Using Simulation and Scripted Deb...
The study examined the effectiveness of using a scripted debriefing method compared to a non-scripted method in pediatric resuscitation training programs. Novice instructors and medical teams from 14 centers participated in a simulation using either scripted or non-scripted debriefing after. Results showed those receiving scripted debriefing had greater improvement in medical knowledge and team leader behavioral performance compared to non-scripted, but no difference in clinical team performance. The study supports using standardized scripted debriefing to improve learning outcomes for novice instructors.

Such new approaches include the ‘ecohealth’ (EH) concept, an approach pioneered over the last decades by the International Development Research Centre, Canada (IDRC).

They employ rigorous methods such as experiments and valid data collection. Evidence-based practices (EBPs) have also been shown to be effective but through a record of success in rigorous research rather than a single definition. Both RBIs and EBPs are most effective when their results can be replicated across different settings and populations. Various resources like the What Works Clearinghouse and the Best Evidence Encyclopedia can help locate RBIs and EBPs. While technology alone is not an RBI or EBP, it may be able to support delivery of interventions when linked to critical elements that have been shown effective through research.

The virtual patients were translated, adapted for UK culture, and additional scenarios were created. Students provided feedback that the virtual patients were an effective way to learn about diseases and clinical reasoning in a safe environment available anytime. While repurposing existing content is efficient, adapting structures was less so. Key challenges included curriculum alignment, consent, licensing, and sustainability planning.

Introduction Lecture for Implementation Science
This document provides an overview of a workshop on implementation science held in Hawassa University from August 21-25, 2017. The purpose of the workshop was to familiarize participants with implementation science concepts and methods and help them develop individual implementation science projects. Professor Sally Redman AM, CEO of the Sax Institute, recently addressed a CIPHER forum to share how the SPIRIT trial is testing a program designed to increase the use of research in policy and programs.
CIPHER, the Centre for Informing Policy in Health with Evidence from Research, is an Australian collaborative research centre managed by the Sax Institute, that is investigating the tools, skills and systems that might contribute to an increased use of research evidence in policy.

Introduction Lecture for Implementation Science
This document provides an overview of a workshop on implementation science held in Hawassa University from August 21-25, 2017. The purpose of the workshop was to familiarize participants with implementation science concepts and methods and help them develop individual implementation science projects. Topics covered included an introduction to implementation science, the know-do gap between evidence and practice, definitions of implementation science, and examples of social and system interventions to reduce perinatal mortality. Implementation challenges and the role of evidence-based practices in implementation science were also discussed.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
