WEEK 1 WEEK 2 WEEK 3 WEEK 4 WEEK 5 WEEK 6 WEEK 7 WEEK 8
Recovery capital
resources are the
internal and external
assets needed to
initiate and sustain
recovery from alcohol
and other drug
problems.
These are what you
need to make sure
your recovery is
long-lasting, fulfilling
and purposeful.
Recovery capital, or
recovery capacity,
differs from individual
to individual and
differs within the
same individual at
multiple points in
time.
Together, we will
create an atmosphere
of fun and happiness
so all around you will
enjoy and be happy
as well.
We will learn to
reward ourselves with
abundance and learn
about all its aspects.
We will teach you to
view your life as a
journey to be
enjoyed and appreci-
ated.
Enthusiasm about life
will be developed
this week as we learn
how to increase our
energy levels. Part of
excitement is allow-
ing abundance in all
areas of our life to
develop. This means
respecting our own
self-worth and that of
others.
To truly release our
reliance on addiction
we need to develop a
sense of healthy
detachment, (not
indifference or
apathy).
This is the all-import-
ant task of letting go
of the 'ego'.
True detachment
manifests as the
ability to think
clearly, stay
balanced, and not
get agitated in
response to what
people think or say
about us. This is
about the hardest
thing but is also the
sweetest fruit of our
recovery. It helps
you conserve your
balance and not take
things too personally.
Emotional intelli-
gence is a person’s
ability to assess their
own emotions and
the emotions of
others and to be able
to manage and
control emotions in a
healthy manner.
This means that you
need to learn to
address and manage
your emotions
without the use of
addictive substances.
Maintaining sobriety
requires more than
just becoming
physically sober. In
fact, that is just the
first step.
People who are
suffering from
addiction need to
learn emotional
stability.
We will develop the
muscles of courage in
this section so we can
love and accept
ourselves, flaws and
all.
CONNECTIVITY - The
opposite of addiction
is connection, to self
and to others. We will
learn to connect with
our brilliance this
week.
COURAGE -We do
not consciously want
to be unethical
people but often lack
the courage and the
role models to do
what is right.
CONTRIBUTION – As
we grow in recovery,
we learn this may be
the exact experiences
we need to help
others
To successfully
overcome alcohol
and drug depen-
dence you must make
sobriety your number
one priority.
You will lose every-
thing you attempt to
build anyway while
you are in addiction
so immerse yourself
in this incubator and
work with us to build
your wonderful
future.
We can overcome
addiction once and
for all. The sooner
you become sober,
the sooner you can
begin creating the
type of life you really
deserve.
Sobriety is the
bedrock of real
health, wealth and
wisdom.
We become
entrenched in victim
mode as we progress
in our addiction.
A victory mindset is
based on the belief
that your basic
qualities are things
you can cultivate
through your efforts.
It Is cultivating a
winning attitude.
Research has shown
that the way you view
your world profoundly
affects the way you
lead your life.
It can determine
whether you become
the person you want
to be and whether
you accomplish the
things you value.
Once we have gotten
rid of our reliance or
attachment to what
other people think,
then we are ready to
healthily build a
strong sense of
self-worth, where it is
all about you.
We study all your
aspects and look at
numerology, astrolo-
gy, personality and
other components
that make up YOU.
We also ensure we
cultivate daily habits
of meditation, yoga,
tai-chi or exercise
that promotes
well-being and gets
you more and more
in touch with your
inner genius.
Then we can start the
work of finding your
purpose and living
your values.
