This document provides a strategy for learning how to transform active sentences to passive sentences in the simple present tense. It begins with an introduction stating the purpose is to learn an effective formula. The main idea and usage explains that the strategy will help the reader acquire the basic rule for changing active to passive. It then provides the formula that active sentences follow SVO structure and passive sentences follow OVS structure. Examples are given to demonstrate the steps of identifying the subject, verb and object in the active sentence and transforming it to a passive sentence by making the object the subject.
