Summary
• My age range is about 16-20, mainly male at 60% and 40% women.
• A large percentage of my audience said they watch horror film 0-5 times a week and a
small percentage said they watch films 6-10 times a week.
• Most of my audience have hobbies such as watching films and hanging out with friends,
so they are sociable and interested in movies.
• A large percentage said that they would expect to see close/long shots as well as
high/low angle shots. Which gives me an insight into what I will use in my film trailer
production.
• Most of my audience said they would expect to see red and black fonts related to
horror ancillary products.
• My audience also say that they enjoy the storyline and characters in horror films, and
the feeling of being scared, shocked , on edge etc.
• My audience said that they would typically expect to see blood, violence and dramatic
scenes.
• My audience said that a film that is tense, dramatic and thrilling is an effective horror
film.
• My audience said that they would typically expect to see bold and sans serif fonts on
the ancillary products of horror films. Therefore when I produce my DVD cover for my
film I will take this into account to make it conventional.
