NOTEWORTHY ACHIEVEMENTS
 Led overall technology integration of the new business accounts into the SaaS Transportation Management
Systems that resulted in: Chemical distribution company-Brenntag awarding Transplace with a significant Logistics
Technology contract in July 2013; Diamond Foods expanded its existing agreement with Transplace to include full
Logistics Services in April 2014; Campbell Soups coming on board in June of 2014 and worldwide chemical company-
Reichhold Inc. chose Transplace’s Third-Party Logistics Solution in 2011.
 Recognized by senior management in 2011 for significant leadership in the Lean Six sigma initiative which
automated spot rate approval process in the Transportation system. Reduced the average amount of paperwork required
for spot quotes from 2-5 days to less than one hour, allowing commercial clients to save tens of thousands of dollars
annually in labor.
 Managed offshore team of six Software Developers in Shanghai China as Technical Lead with Transplace.
Developed highly customized enterprise-wide management software for clients in Transportation industry (2003-
2009). Results –a superior level of coding and several large scale projects were completed before deadline including a
Customer Maintenance System, Product Maintenance Management application and Digital Imaging System software.
 Improved the software development process that reduced “rework” by 20% and allowed developers to work on more
new assignments, which improved productivity by 40%. Previously, fifty percent of projects required rework
compared to 30% now. Results – Annual savings of $370,000 in labor and improved productivity with an average
staff of ten Developers.
 Delivered significant improvements by automating the invoice processing for the carriers in the Transportation and
Financial Management system by reducing the cycles of accounting reviews. Results – the carriers would now be paid
90-95% on time vs. 75% on time, which improved loyalty. This was vital since carriers often declined to work for
clients who did not pay promptly because of significant expenses.
 Established an easily understandable and transparent executive level reporting and metrics on Software/Application
Development. Results - Improved tracking and prioritization for demand management requests; becoming an
integral tool for managing resources, and earning rave reviews from senior Transplace executives.
 Delivered a business intelligence dashboard for software development projects, which provided a clear visual aid to track
key performance metrics. Results – Improved productivity 10% or more by instituting a process of
