E-Urja End to End IT Solution for Distribution Company Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) is
engaged into Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electricity in the State of Gujarat.
Distribution will be managed by the 4 distribution companies (Ugvcl, Mgvcl, Dgvcl, and Pgvcl).
GSECL will be responsible for generation.
Transmission will be managed by GETCO. GUVNL will be handle trading activity among all 6
Companies.
GEB has also embarked on the implementation of Oracle Applications - an ERP package based End
to End IT Solution, which would help GEB in streamlining its business processes and make them
more efficient and effective. It’s been implemented successfully in all parts of Gujarat and is now in
maintenance phase. E-Urja (End To End Solution) – One of the Largest ERP System in Domestic
Field.
