As an established Business Systems Analyst and Project Manager with an outstanding record of

challenging and rewarding roles. I have seasoned experience in systems analysis and project
management methodologies with an emphasis on continuous technical improvement within
budget and timeline. I excel in both direct and cross-functional environments. I have successfully
implemented and managed complex projects and IS operations delivery at a global scale.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
John Hancock, Boston, MA (14+ years)
Process Quality Assurance Lead 2014 - present
This is a new role I was moved into within John Hancock. Previously, all project activities were
performed by disparate project teams under a decentralized IT model. As we moved to a more structured
governance model, my role ensures technical projects are following common standards in a centralized
approach. I have also expanded PQA to include projects related to business activities, work processes and
capabilities. Projects currently have the option to use either waterfall or agile methodologies. I have also
developed project standards policies and a verification checklist to ensure deliverables for each project are
met. As projects are assessed, the information gathered is instrumental in determining future process
improvements or if project coaching is recommended. This has allowed the PMO to utilize project
guardrails more efficiently and promote continuous improvement.
Business System Consultant/Project Manager 2011-2014
John Hancock Application Services
Worked in cross-functional IT team. Staff members included; Infrastructure specialists, developers,
database administrators, and release engineers in geographically disbursed locations to deliver and support

developers to ensure timely delivery on break fix/enhancement work and worked with customers to
ensure timely delivery for work deliverables.
To create collaboration and continuous improvement in the delivery of applications, I chaired weekly
roundtable meetings for divisional BSA’s/PM’s to discuss standards and governance models. As meeting
chair I was responsible for promoting standards and creating a weekly forum for peers/staff to discuss
key challenges, opportunities for improvements and ensuring standards were aligned to our operating
model.
