The document describes a student information management system created by three group members. The existing manual system had disadvantages like physical strain and being time consuming, while the present computerized system allows for high interactivity, instant response and time savings. The goals of the project were to computerize the manual system. Key features of the computerized system include registration of students, maintenance of student records, and searching student records. It was created as a web application using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript with a MySQL database. The system design includes use case modeling, ER diagrams and data flow diagrams. Modules for admins and users are outlined. Future enhancements could include note uploading/downloading and mobile applications.

5. INTRODUCTION
• Student Management System can handle all the detail about a
student,The details include collage details, Student personal
details etc.
• Student Management System is an automated version of manual
Student Management System.
• The main purpose of this SRS document is to illustrate the
requirements of the project Student information System and is
intended to help any organization to maintain and manage its
student’s personal data.

• It is a web based application.
• Unlike traditional application, it is accessible anytime, anywhere,

• We have used PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript for making the
website.
• For saving the data of students we have used mysql database.
• The entire website executes on the XAMPP server
• To Access the website we can use any type of web browser
