This document outlines an agenda for a workshop exploring the complementarity of Lean and STS (Science, Technology & Society) approaches. The agenda includes: - An introduction where participants will share expectations and rate their knowledge of Lean and STS. - A presentation on Lean by Larry Miller that will define what Lean is. - Two case study presentations by Ray Dyck and Jean Fuller applying Lean and STS approaches in organizations. - Breakout groups where participants will discuss how Lean and STS were combined in the case studies, lessons learned, and questions for presenters. - Groups will report out their discussions, with notes captured at the front of the class. - Closing
