This study examined the relationship between drinking alcohol and ordering takeout among college students. Surveys of 67 randomly selected students found that 61% were female, consistent with the general college population. A chi-squared test found significant evidence (p=0.0029) that drinking frequency is correlated with takeout ordering frequency. However, the normality assumption was not met. Potential sources of bias include non-response, sampling only certain dorms and grades, and responses around peers. Lurking variables like student-athlete status, wealth, and jobs were not accounted for.
