The student has chosen to create a teaser trailer, film poster, and film magazine for their A2 media production project rather than a music video. They feel they will enjoy creating a teaser trailer more as they have never done one before and want to learn new skills. The student is creating a blog to document their progress through the project, which will include videos, pictures, research, and their finished products. Their goal is to build anticipation, generate awareness, and promote their fictional film. They will conduct research online by analyzing successful professional examples. The main piece requires working in pairs, and the student has already found a partner to create the teaser trailer with.

2. For my A2 Media production I have the option to chose to design a
music video along with a digi-pack and CD cover. Or to Make a
teaser trailer with a film poster and film magazine.
I have chosen to go ahead with the teaser trailer with a film poster
and film magazine, because I feel I will enjoy this task better. Also I
have never made a teaser trailer before so I would like to learn and
develop some skills in this area.

3. I am creating this blog to help show my development through the
course of making my teaser trailer and ancillary pieces (film
magazine and film poster).
The blog will show my progression during the course and
contain a variety of media text such as videos, pictures. I will
also be using the blog to conduct my research and show my
finished media products

4.  Build up anticipation for the release of the film

 Advertising and promote the film to an audience

5. My main of collecting research will become the internet I will able
to search for others work such trailers on YouTube film posters
as well as film magazines using goggles search engine and
analysing what makes these ‘professional’ media texts so
successful.

6. The main piece requires students to work in pairs of 2-3. Already
I have found my partner who is also willing to create a teaser
trailer. We will begin the product by doing some research to help
understand the fundamentals towards making a usefully teaser
trailer and use this information to assist our selves once we
begin the production.
