Milo Watson completed a personal skills audit to assess the skills used in creating their previous media production project and how they plan to further develop those skills for their next project. For their previous project, Milo used Final Cut Express HD, Photoshop, and other software to edit footage and alter colors, shadows, and highlights to create tension. They researched online using sources like Wikipedia and YouTube and analyzed conventions from media texts like films of the same genre. For their next project, Milo plans to experiment more with technologies, complete more advanced editing, research from a wider range of sources including tutorials, and analyze source footage in greater depth to better understand how to achieve their goals.

Final Cut Express HD
Using final cut I was able to
achieve what I wanted in my
footage. At first I was unsure on
what to do and how to get what
I wanted with the software but I
was shown a few tutorials on
how to start off on editing. I was
able to create a tensed
atmosphere in my footage with
the alterations of colours,
shadows and highlights.
I will spend some of my spare
time revising on how to
achieved advanced editing to
help create a larger impact on
my final outcome.

with information that I could use

this included definitions and

that I deemed hard.
