You wish you could learn just one platform and never have to learn another one, but that's not how software works. Today’s epic swell is tomorrow's choppy ripples. Today's cloud nine is tomorrow's smog. What you really need to learn is how to surf… on clouds.
So catch the wave and we’ll ride the white fluffies together. We’ll start with Kubernetes, the cloud container orchestration engine Google seeded, and Mesos, the scheduling framework from which Twitter and Apple are hanging ten. Then we’ll throw on the afterburner with the Mesosphere Datacenter Operating System (DCOS) and deploy orchestrators, like Kubernetes and Marathon, alongside distributed services, like Spark and Cassandra, to open up a universe of possibilities.

Manage and operate multiple Azure Stack Hub stamp instances with ease and efficiency! From a single portal, operators and administrators can perform many of their scenarios without needing to jump between various stamp portals. This ability to perform the scenarios such as the following from a single pane of glass experience saves lot of time and effort in managing Azure Stack Hub stamp instances:
- Aggregated health and monitoring
- Patch and update management
- Marketplace management
- VM Images & VHD management
- Infrastructure and Capacity management
- Diagnostics
- Resource Utilization and Billing
- Tenant management
- Aggregated Email reports for stakeholders and administrators
Part 01: Azure Virtual Networks – An OverviewNeeraj Kumar
A virtual network in Azure is similar to the network that we have in our on-premises environment, helping us connect different resources. The azure network helps us connect virtual machines (VMs), create a connected system as a part of a FARMs so that they can communicate with each other, and talk to the on-premises systems as well in special connected scenarios.
This is the Part 1 of the Azure Virtual Networking Servies and is the part of the AZ-100 certification examination, and it provides an overview of the vNet, and the components of the virtual network that an Azure Administrator has to deal with on a daily basis.
As clouds become commonplace, there is a need to manage virtual instances across a great variety of clouds and cloud-like environments. Aeolus, an open source project recently launched by Red Hat, lives in the space just below where traditional config management tools like Puppet live.
It provides tools for managing virtual instances and images across public, private and hybrid clouds, from image creation to the launch of complex deployments. It enhances existing clouds by providing user management, monitoring and quality-of-service metrics to make intelligent decisions about resource placement, or automate them based on policy, across multiple clouds. All fronted by a friendly self-service web application, with an API in the works.
Open Source Docs: The Good, The Bad, and the WTF?!Lana Brindley
Open source documentation is generally awful, often frightening, and sometimes it’s just outright weird. In this discussion, I will show you examples from the entire spectrum of open source documentation, in an effort to try and help you avoid some of the worst mistakes made by others before you. We will discuss why documentation is important for open source projects, and how to go about getting it written, and written well, without making too much of a fool out of yourself.

Consumer Opinion on Electric Vehicles: Enprecis Mobility PanelEnprecis
Results of mobile survey about electric vehicles found significant consumer interest in EVs, with nearly 60% of potential car buyers declaring a willingness to go electric.
Cloud computing comes into focus only when you think about what IT always needs: a way to increase capacity or add capabilities on the fly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any subscription-based or pay-per-use service that, in real time over the Internet, extends IT's existing capabilities.
How Cloud services can help scale your business with speed. The presentation was part of IBM Cloud Innovation Forum India and was presented by Sanjay Siboo Country Manager, IBM GTS Cloud Services India/South Asia

Serverless frameworks are changing the way we do computing. In open source container world, Kubernetes is playing a pivotal role in manifesting this. This presentation will go deep into various features of Kubernetes to create serverless functions.
Also includes a comparative study of various serverless frameworks such as Kubeless, Fission and Funktion are available in open source world. Will conclude with an implementation demo and some real world use cases.
Presented in serverless summit 2017: www.inserverless.com
Kubernetes for FaaS (Function as a Service) - Serverless evolution, some basic constructs, kubenetes features, comparisons - from Serverless conference 2017 Bangalore.
Your developers are asking for it. The boss is wondering how much longer it's going to take. You need to get Kubernetes up and running. This session will explore core Kubernetes concepts as it relates to our knowledge as a vSphere administrator. We will explore the differences between open source and commercialized versions of Kubernetes and take a quick look at different application deployment mechanisms. You’re going to leave with a better understanding of Kubernetes architecture and how to take the next step towards containerization.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
