Websites generally suffer from two key problems:
- searchers don’t find the site
- those who do, fail to buy
These slides were presented at a Business Southend workshop (26/8/2015) to explain how to use the free Google Analytics tool to show you how people get to your site and what they do once there.
More importantly, they give examples of the actions you can then take to tweak both your marketing efforts and the content on your website to ensure that it is a peak performer!

- determining the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- testing and measuring
as well as Hits and Visitors.
Globally internet has changed the way in which businesses were performed traditionally. Developed countries have benefited from implementing e-commerce. But, in case of emerging economies like India the adoption of e-commerce has been very slow due to challenges posed by a number of barriers. In India, though the large corporations have adopted e-commerce and successfully explored the business opportunities, the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are yet to benefit from adopting e-commerce. This presentation reflects on the barriers that the SMEs face in India in process of adoption of e-commerce. It analyses both the external and internal factors that affect the adoption of e-commerce. In the end recommendations are also mentioned.
As information security consultancy becomes more commoditized with more testing tools and more competitors in the market, consulting companies are looking for ways to survive and to thrive. This article (part of a series) discusses methods to stabilize revenue and increase it. Ideas discussed include subscription services, retainer agreements, and recurring pentesting.

The purpose of Productized is to help innovators create successful products.
Making a great product is super-tough. Productized helps entrepreneurs make their early prototypes and access the resources they need to succeed.
We fight for a culture of innovation and productization for both public and private organizations. We bridged several Lisbon Universities, research laboratories, established companies and startup founders.
We have tons of great technologies being created in several Universities, research labs, and even companies but, they are not being productized. Why is that? How can we make it visible?
We believe in human-centered methodologies, product design and product management within startups as well as in established companies to craft thoughtful product experiences.
Because great economies and companies live from great product and services experiences.
This impact report is a small showcase of that work and our thank you to all the partners, mentors, volunteers and staff who help the success of product-driven innovators!
Thank you for your commitment towards our association. We won't let you down.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

Editor's Notes
START is a capacity building and fellowship program that empowers these next generation cultural managers in Greece where the reverberations of the economic crises in Europe are strongest. The program comprises two consecutive and competitive stages, a job shadowing phase in Germany and a project implementation phase in Greece. The goal is to enable START fellows to transform an innovative project idea into a cultural initiative and to acquire professional skills to develop the initiative into a sustainable creative venture.
START is a program of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, conducted in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki and the German Association of Sociocultural Centers.
The goal is to enable START fellows to transform an innovative project idea into a cultural initiative and to acquire professional skills to develop the initiative into a sustainable creative venture.
The program has 3 phases. Phase I = Training & job shadowing in Germany, Phase II = Projects implementation in Greece and Phase III = Closing festival in Greece.
Finally, we are organizing a Festival to showcase and promote the outcome of the fellows’ projects all over Greece. This will happen on the 2nd week of May in Thessaloniki. The festival is a way to celebrate the fellows’ role in shaping the social net needed for youth to be empowered, mobilized and activated in civil society, and in understanding the value of international collaborations beyond governments’ work.
