The STaR Chart is a self-assessment tool for teachers and schools to evaluate their progress toward meeting the technology goals outlined in Texas's Long-Range Plan for Technology. The STaR Chart focuses on four key areas: teaching and learning, educator preparation and development, leadership/administration/support, and infrastructure. Fort Bend Independent School District uses the STaR Chart to work towards its goal of achieving the highest "Target Tech" classification to incorporate relevant new technologies into its curriculums.
