Recent events have found UC Berkeley embroiled in controversy regarding Free Speech; debate
has flared over what Free Speech really means, where we draw the line between Free Speech and

These native peoples, first mislabeled as Indians by an explorer named Christopher Columbus,
divided themselves into many different tribes, each with its own government, language, traditions
and religions. Europeans, who slowly poured into the Indian s land, did not respect the Indians
beliefs, interrupted their peaceful life and would do almost anything to get the land to them selves.
The settlers also believed the land that both the Indians and the settlers lived on was theirs to
themselves. They began to push the Native Americans off of their own land. Many of them fought
back to keep their homes, some succeeded, some didn t.
By the 1800 s most of the Native Americans signed a treaty with the European American
government. The results left the Native Americans on small pieces of land called reservations in
exchange for their land and peace. The European Americans promised that they would give the
Indians living on the reservations food, water, money and education for the children. Most of these
promises were not kept.
White man s schooling of the Native Americans helped cause the disintegration of the beliefs,
customs and ways of life of the natives residents of Turtle Island . One of the sources that helped

were Germanic, Romance, and Slavic. I was really surprised learning about all these different

To avoid the death of the entire herd, it is important for the farmer to be able to identify the
symptoms and confirm whether or not CWD is present. If any of the deer test positive, the
farmer should put those animals down. This will not only stop the spread of CWD, but it will
also stop the animals from suffering as it can take a long time for them to finally expire after
getting this disease. Unfortunately, it is hard to tell whether an animal is infected with CWD, since
it could take up to as much as 18 months for the disease to disable the central nervous system of the
deer. Of course, it can set in sooner or later, but with a deer infected for such a long time, it could
lead to the owner having to put down the rest of his animals due to possible contamination.
Killing captive animals that may be infected is a necessary safety precaution in case some of
them escape into the wild. In fact, this happened in Fairchild, Wisconsin. Twenty deer from an
infected deer farm fled when a tree fell and knocked over the fence. Of them, 17 were either shot
or returned and eventually put down. In the end, all of the deer at the Fairchild farm, 228 in total,
had been put down. Of those 228 deer, 23 were found CWD positive. It is certainly possible then
that any of the three unfound escaped deer could have also been infected and spread CWD

Research is apart of an ongoing research program that is examining how we as human beings
affect watery ecosystems. This program was developed by Mark Pyron who is a biology professor
at Ball State. Mr.Pyron is focused on discovering the influences humans have on potential public
drinking waterways within America, since a third of the U.S. consumes their water from river banks.

Basketball Game Analysis
In the year of 2014, I decided that I wanted to play basketball. So then, I tried out for the Oxford
Park Commission basketball team and made it. Soon it was down to our final season and when I
was playing basketball, our team was down by 12 during the first quarter just about to be the
second quarter. I was sitting on the bench waiting for the coach to call my name so that he can put
me back in the game., I knew then that I would be able to help my team win the game, or at least
try. I was already in game mode because I had started off the game with 10 points, 2 steals, and 1
block. While in the second quarter, I was playing shooting guard and my teammate Syvonte was
