Responsibilities:
Citibank have their in house applications for performing Name screening task for all their
customers all over the world. These applciations are deployed on WebSphere 7.X and 8.X /
WASCE with Sun One WebServer and IBM HTTP Server as web servers.
 My role is to build the WebSphere infrastructure to hold the applications for different regions
and different environments like DEV, SIT, UAT and PROD/COB.
 WebSphere installation, Cell & app servers creation & configuration, application Deployment,
webserver configuration, SSL certificate installation and maintance are part of my role.
 Apart from build, I am also responsible for supporting the environments.
 Along with regular build, I also manage weekend maintanace activity on our environments

2.  Project : Infrastructure Build, Application deploy and maintance at National Australia Bank,
Melbourne

Responsibilities:
I was responsible for all the installtions, deployment and maintanance of Applications on Oracle
Fusion Middleware mainly with WebLogic 10.3 on which the core banking applciation will be
deployed.
 My role involved creating of new Domains in WebLogic, creating Managed servers, clustering
and Deployment of applications on the servers in various environments of Dev, Testing,
PreProd and Production and their maintanance.
 My role also involves deployment and administration of Oracle Business Intelligence
Publisher.
 I take care of the applications backup and restore strategies in case of a data loss.
 Check for application version upgrades when ever required and impliment the same as and
when required.
 Installation, configureation and maintance of Oracle HTTP Server is a part of my role.
 Regular health check and monitoring of the Unix Vertual Machines on which the applciations
are installed are an integral part of the role.
 Documentation of all known issues for furture reference and also preparing the installation
docs for a proper BAU handover.

Responsibilities:
My responsibilities as L2 support person in the application support team was to handle the
issues occuring on day to day basis. Monitoring the tasks at high level and maintaining the SLAs.
During the event of any issue follow up on the issue and coordinate with concerned teams for
faster resolution of the incident and restore the envi ronment in the shortest possible time and with
minimum business impact.
 I was the contact person for the local Appsupport teams and local SL3 for faster resolut ion of
the issue. For app support or management, I was the direct point of contact for gathering
information from or pasing information to offshore on any issue.
 The issues occurred will be tracked in remedy for incidnet management review.
 My role as a Production Management team is to review the Incidents occurred during the
incidnet time and if it’s a repetetive incident with known resolution, the action will be taken. If
the incidnet is new, the appropriate teams will be involved in finding the RCA for the incident
and taking action to resolve the issue.
 Repeated issues will be forwarded to problem management for further investigation and
permanent fix.
 All the issues occurred and are in open state are reviewed on daily basis in Incident
management meeting and appropriate action items will be marked for particular incidents.
 My role also involved co-ordination with respective teams on Change Management activities
before, during and after the changes are applied.
 Manage the team at offshore during my working hours to carry out day to day activities
smoothly.
 I was the team lead for upgrading the monitoring application 'Geneos'. I was the first point of
contact for the Geneos application support. I lead the Geneos application team located at
offshore for improbements on the Geneos monitoring.
