EPS is an application which was facingmany issues with their batch jobs which were 200
in number. Due to this 8 dedicated resources were aligned for manual monitoring and
Workaround on a day to day basis.Itwas also leadingto lotof Manual Error and multiple
critical SLAmisses.On an average this application was seeingan incidentinflux of around
800 incidents every month. So a BIP Project was opened with an objective to identify all
the Batch Job issues and reduce the Dedicated Resources to 2 and incident influx to
fewer than 50.
Roles and Responsibilities :
 Identify the pain points.Understand the Business requirement of various
scenarios whileredesigningtheBatch.
 Debugging and troubleshootingissues and identifyingthe best solution for it.
 Prioritization of Deliverables asper the ImpactAnalysis.
 Mentoring the resources technically and functionally so thatthere areno blockers
to their work.
 Assign ProblemTickets and SPRF’s to different individuals and to myself as well.

Being at Onshore during this period the responsibilities assigned to me were very
exciting and had a lot of diversity.
Roles:
 I was the Subject Matter Expert for the application.
 I was performing the Release Entry Framework Role were I was involved in the
Development release process from end to end.
 I was attending daily scrum meetings, Grooming Sessions, Sprint Planning meeting,
Retrospective Meeting and RCA. We were adhering to Agile Methodology.
 I was using Dynatrace tool to great efficiency in solving many of the performance
issues and other critical online issues.
 I was frequently meeting with the business around the various issues happeningand
identifying the Resolution to those.
