LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Content Standard The Learner demonstrates understanding of rate and
speed, and of area and surface area of plane and
solid/space figures.
Performance Standard The Learner is able to apply knowledge of speed, area,
and surface area of plane and solid/space figures in
mathematical problems and real-life situations
Learning Competency M6ME-IIIg-17 - calculates speed, distance, and time.
Lesson Objectives at the end of a 70-minute discussion, the grade 6 pupils can do the
following with at least 85% level of accuracy:
A. identify speed, distance and time in a given situation;
B. calculates speed, distance, and time; and
C. appreciate the lesson’s importance through reflection.

Editor's Notes

  • #3 However, before we start, I have a short notice for you. Zamboanga City is campaigning for this month’s celebration, the “Women’s Month”. One of the activities is called “Marcha de las Mujeres”, a purple walk for a cause. The distance is covered from the City Fire Station to Paseo Del Mar. Moreover, to also support this campaign I have here something on the board. These are landmarks that they used in the run, and these are divided into four representing the four groups. Would you also like to help the campaign? Yes! So, what must you do? Participate, listen, properly be attentive!
