This document provides an overview of a 6th grade online visual arts class that teaches students about color theory and its application in paintings. The class objectives are to explain the importance of colors, demonstrate understanding of colors by incorporating them in paintings, and produce an artwork applying the learned colors. Students are instructed on color fundamentals like hue, value, tints, shades, monochromatic schemes, warm and cool colors. They participate in activities like drawing warm/cool color sceneries and replicating Filipino landscape paintings using color theory. For homework, students research Filipino cultural patterns and write a journal reflecting on their insights from the class.
