Healthcare vertical market for one of the largest global BPO outsourcing and receivable
management companies in the world.

Abstract:
Mr. Solomon’s presentation speaks directly to the issues facing health care facilities regarding
the rise in the self pay and balance after insurance collection challenges. Our current economic
conditions are creating a need for dynamic pre-service to collection solutions to help stem the
tide of the exploding self-pay and uncompensated care patient populations. Phil outlines the
current state of the economy which has created this self-pay phenomenon and discusses the
drivers within the economy which are defining a new population of self pay patients. By utilizing
the best practices outlined in this session, stakeholders can improve processes, cut expenses
and increase revenue and patient satisfaction. These include:
