 SPECIFICATIONS
Advantages
 Wearable smart-devices represent the next stage in mobile
computing and Google Glass is the most hotly-anticipated gadget in that
space. It is not an extension of your Android smartphone or tablet, but
is a whole new gadget in itself that can perform various day to day tasks,
without you ever moving your hands.
 Just say the word and Google Glass will take a picture or record a
video – you will never have to touch the hardware. The photos and
videos will be stored on the 4GB flash memory of the device, and can
also be shared on social networking websites or emailed.
 Google Glass will show you text messages as well as emails you
receive and allow you to reply to them via voice commands.
Disadvantages
 Since the device is on our eyes, there might be some misuse of
cameras, since an average person would either not know that they
are being filmed or photographed, which could cause legal issues or
more.
 It is easy to hack this operating system, which is another serious
issue.
Application
DriveSafe4Glass
Drive Safe is glassware that can detect when you are falling asleep using
Google Glass sensors, and trigger and alert to wake you up. It can then
direct you to the nearest rest area so that you can continue driving
safely later on
 Insight
Insight is an app for Google Glass that lets you glimpse into others’
personalities
VideoBlack
Record videos without distracting with Video Black. Video Black lets you
record videos with your Glass’s screen turned off, so you can save
battery life and pay attention on what you have in front of you.
 GlassMusic
Play any song with GlassMusic. GlassMusic lets you listen all the
songs you want on your Glass. You can search by any song name,
artist or album.
WhatsGlass
A whatsapp relay messages for Google Glass. This is a beta. You need
to join the community to request an invite.
 Moment Camera

sensors in Glass to figure out the best times to take a picture. When
the lighting is good. When the camera is still. When the kids aren’t
fighting.
ToGlass
To Glass is a utility app for sending a note from your android phone
to Google glass.
CONCLUSION
 Google Glass makes life simple
Takes communication to next level
