This document discusses sound design plans for opening sequences in a film. It recommends using diegetic police radio and walkie-talkie sounds, as well as footsteps, to set the scene. Non-diegetic music selections from Free Play Music aim to portray suspense and drama through bass sounds representing threat versus higher piano representing innocence. Additional diegetic sounds include breathing and footsteps in the woods. Non-diegetic drums and children's laughter represent flashbacks and contrast between past and present.

2.  For the first shot we need a diegetic sound, the cops radio,
Tiff & Phil are going to have a Walky talky like that where the
sound come from

 Furthermore, we need footsteps , while the cops are walking
 Score will be “From Under A Vision” by Free Play Music to
portray the dramatic aspect to our film and show suspense
 the low bass sounds in the music connotes a threat where
Allie wants to flee from ,which has corrupted an innocence
represented by the higher piano sounds therefor common
binary opposition of good vs evil

 Non diegetic sounds will be right at the beginning, maybe
some drums in the background, to create suspense
 children laughing is going to be another non diegetic sound
effect, this are the thoughts of Ali ,which are flashbacks in the
past and connote the difference between the past and the
present, the interruption of their friendship
 Score will be “Elevate” by Free Play Music to create suspense
and tension
 Heartbeat in the music connotes her fear of something that is
maybe following her
