a systematic approach
in solving problems
used by scientist and
researchers.
Researchers make observations
around them to spot problems areas.
Then, they identify the specific
problem they want to study.
it is asking a question you want to
answer. This question will include one
of the key starters: how, what, when,
why, where, who or which.
The hypothesis is an educated guess as
to what will happen during your
experiment.
The experiment is a particularly useful
method to explain change, to look at
cause and effect, or to deduce a
hypotheses from a theory.
Drawing a conclusion means
making a statement summing up
what you have learned from an
experiment.

mixture.

it is a type of solution that has
less than the maximum amount
of solute than the solvent can
dissolve.

solvent has reached amount of
solute than the solvent it can
dissolves at a certain
temperature
These are the properties of
solution that depend on the
amount of solute dissolved in
the solvent.
This occurs because the
particles are finding it hard to
organize themselves into a rigid
structure due to the presence of
solute.
This occurs because the solute is
attached to the solvent, making
it harder for the solvent to
evaporate, requiring more heat
to dislodge from the solute.
This occurs when the vapor
pressure of solution is lowered
resulting to a need for more energy
to restore the vapor pressure to
the value that corresponds to the
pure solvent.
Osmotic pressure can be defined
as the minimum pressure that
must be applied to a solution to
halt the flow of solvent molecules
through a semipermeable
membrane (osmosis).
