Production volume is determined by technical availability, the reliability of the plant and weather
conditions. The price is the result of the stipulations in the offtake agreement. Our detailed knowledge
of the complex offtake agreements ensures that the optimum commercial result is achieved.
Daily operations have a high repetitive character. OutSmart has always focused on automation for
maximum efficiency. With our highly developed IT capabilities, we ensure that new projects or
complex customization can be quickly implemented. We share the cost advantages of our automation
with our customers and lower the OPEX.
Naturally, we also ensure safe installations through independent inspections and on time inspection of
all safety provisions. This results in an optimal condition of the production units and compliance with
legislation and consent requirements.
An alternative service and maintenance option is available for your as asset owner. We take over all
the maintenance coordination and contract management, by subcontracting the service and
maintenance works (integrated solution). This as an OEM alternative after the DNP period AND lower
OPEX.

Step 1 – Set up O&M Plan and
Organization
Starting point for our assignment is the
Operations Strategy leading to an Operations &
Management Plan.
We look at the O&M processes and chart all
interests. We also take into account the details
from the Offtake Agreements (such as our Direct
Offtake Agreement).
This quickly provides clarity in the duties of the
members of the Power Plant Management team.
• We meet mutual conditions and expectations.
• We comply with permits and regulations
(compliancy).
• We organize the team and conclude the
contracts.
Step 2 – Preparation of O&M
In order to guarantee the operational tasks and
responsibilities, we produce a manual with processes
and procedures in which all agreements are stated,
explanations are given about the IT platform and
interfaces and of course the agreed mandate.
We take care of the IT structure and apply best in class
software solutions. All interfaces are created and
tested together with the suppliers.
With a transparent way of working and open
communication, we ensure that the owner is ready in
time for the operations phase and we bridge the gap
until formal take-over of the generating unit.
