9. 6. Labour Budget through People’s Participation
Much ahead of the IPPE, in the financial year 2013-14 , the State took up
special initiatives to ensure grater participation of the people in Planning
and Evaluation of MGNREGS.
The Labour Budgets and Annual Action Plans were prepared through
Participatory processes by drawing Resource Maps, identifying
households for IBS through vulnerability mapping in hamlets and
collection of Schemes and prioritization of works through people’s choice
by organizing special Gram Sansad meetings
