This document describes two natural phenomena involving snow - lollys and snowrollers. Lollys are large ice balls that form along beaches near large lakes or oceans when snow falls into the water and is transformed by wave movement. Snowrollers are rolls of snow formed by wind that lifts and moves layers of snow, rolling it into cylindrical shapes that can be several centimeters or even up to 70cm long. Specific weather conditions including wind speed, temperature and slope are needed for snowrollers to form.
