This document discusses two rare meteorological phenomena - "lolly" and "snowrollers". Lolly occurs when large amounts of snow fall near lakes or oceans, and the movement of waves transforms the snow into hundreds or thousands of ice balls on beaches. Snowrollers form when wind blows layers of snow on top of each other, causing rolls of snow to form on surfaces covered in a thin layer of loose snow near the melting point. Under the right temperature, humidity, wind speed and slope conditions, the rolls can move and collect more snow, growing up to 70cm large.
