The following tasks can be completed at home in the event of School being closed due to bad weather.
The tasks can be completed by pupils on their own or with another person.
On returning to school house points will be awarded to those pupils who can produce evidence of their work e.g.
– drawing or picture, photograph or written piece.
1. You are snuggled up in bed on a cold winter’s morning. Invent 5 different and
unusual excuses for not having to get up!
2. This track has been left in the snow.

3. Look at the clouds in the sky and describe in words or a picture what they look like.
4. What would a snowman pack in his suitcase if he was going on holiday? Write down
all the items he would need.
