The Romans built large public baths out of bricks where they would meet with friends to wash with oil and chat, with men and women bathing separately. 3. The Colosseum could hold 80,000 people and was built around 3,000 years ago, where gladiators would fight each other and wild animals while Romans watched and cheered.
