Social media tools like Diigo and Pinterest can be useful for educators. Diigo allows bookmarks and notes to be organized and shared, while Pinterest facilitates organizing vast resources and collaborative boards. Google Classroom streamlines assigning and collecting work with less paper and accessibility from anywhere. While there are many social media choices, recognizing the right fit, cost considerations, and overcoming shyness can present challenges to using social media. Moodle courses provide flexibility for online learning that is impossible with other formats.

Recognizing the social media that is right for me- there is
an overwhelming amount of choices and material, and
often there is overlap between different social media

5. Thoughts on Moodle and Online
Learning
I love the flexibility of online learning and Moodle in particular. I was away for much of
July, without internet for some of the time. This Moodle course allowed my to work on
assignments when I could, and submit work towards the end when I was home. This
would be impossible with just about any other course format.
