campaign is females from about 16-
50. Adults still may not know what
they are actually doing to their unborn
child.
This poster for a smoking campaign uses
persuasive techniques for example the
‘STOP TODAY’ is in red letters making it
stand out from the rest of the writing.
This has been done because stopping
smoking is the aim of the campaign.
The baby has smoke around him. This is
persuading people to stop as no one
would ever want to hurt their unborn
child. The poster is showing the target
audience what they are actually doing
to their child whist going through
pregnancy.
The poster adds the smoke to the baby
because it shows how dangerous
smoking whilst carrying an unborn child
actually is.
The logo on the poster shows that the
poster is reliable and not something
that is just rubbish. Everything on this
poster is true, and that people
smoking whilst pregnant are really
putting their child in danger.
All of the words on the campaign
poster are bold and in capitals. This
gets the target audience’s attention.
