Oil and Gas Telecommunications Conference
Day Two | Tuesday 15th March 2016
Supported by
telecomms.com
4. Overview:
This workshop aims to provide an insight into the
complicated world of procuring IT & Communications
solutions when working in highly agile upstream E&P
environments. Discussion will centre around how once
you have chosen your technology, you can get it
procured/awarded and live in the shortest timeframe,
whilst ensuring international business ethics and in
country legal/contractual requirements are met.
Why you should attend:
Anyone planning to manage communication
departments or indeed supply services to upstream
operational business units will be able to get a great
insight into the challenges they will face when trying
to close the deal/get new systems implemented and
live. There has never been a better time technologically
to provide what the customer wants in terms of
connectedness and sameness across organisations.
Knowing the inner workings of procurement
departments and contractual requirements in these
environments is crucial to turning an idea/sales lead into
a closed deal which meets the customers demands.
Programme:
8.30 Registration and Coffee
9.00 Workshop overview and exploring the
challenges in choosing the right telecom
partners
9.30 Operating in local environments
10.00 Cost recovery – what's best for business?
10.45 Coffee Break
11.00 The correct approach and targeting the
right customers
11.30 Discussion and Q & A
12.30 Close of workshop

Leader with over 24 years’ experience, leading and

locations. Dennis is a real people person with a passion
for successfully delivering projects through full life
cycle in challenging matrix managed operational
environments. Having progressed through the ranks
within the Oil and Gas industry, Dennis possesses a
high level of technical expertise across all areas of IT
Infrastructure.
