This document describes a smart helmet system with intercom features. The system includes a helmet module, bike module, and intercom module. The helmet module uses IR sensors to detect if a helmet is being worn and an alcohol sensor to detect alcohol consumption. The bike module uses a vibration sensor to detect accidents and a GSM module to send alerts. An intercom system allows for wireless communication between riders. The system aims to improve road safety by enforcing helmet usage and providing medical assistance in the event of an accident.

In daily aspects of our life safety and security are the two major concerns. Nowadays the scenario that we come across in many cases of human deaths and severe injuries to people is because of two wheeler road accidents. For every four minutes there is one death being reported in India. According to the World Health Organization, we have identified that 40 percent of the deaths and 70 percent of severe injuries can be reduced if bike rider wears the helmet. There are areas around the world where the traffic of people is less. In such a situation, rider’s loss their lives. On considering these factors, no proper methodologies have been implemented to avoid accidents that are caused due to alcohol consumption and unconscious riding. The helmet includes sensors which ensure if the one who is driving the two wheeler is a sober and also checks if the rider is conscious or not. With the help of alcohol sensor MQ3, we check the alcohol consumption. If detected details of the vehicle is send which includes the vehicle registration number and rider details is send to the authorizes officials. For this a database is implemented. After sleep detection using heart rate sensor, if found to be unconscious the rider is alerted with a beep sound. Thus this helmet not only ensures safe riding but also recognizes the condition of a rider for safe riding. Wireless Electronic Notice Board Using Voice Recognition.With the advent of advance technology nowadays, the wireless communication is proving its importance in each and every field of today’s era. This system deals with use of one such wireless technology. The proposed system is a combination of hardware as well as software. The main idea of the project is to develop an electronic notice board which will display the content entered by user’s voice in his mobile phone. This in turn will reduce the paper consumptions and wastage of time involved in conventional notice board.
In speech controlled electronic notice board is very friendly to user and can operate merely from a distance of 10 meters(approx). Here, installed application operates on Voice recognition concept which will be embedded in a microcontroller interfaced with Bluetooth device. Bluetooth wireless technology helps in communication area, and is the fastest growing fields within the wireless technologies.
Home security system is needed for convenience and safety. This system invented to keep home safe from intruder. In this work, we present the design and implementation of a GSM & PIR sensor based home security system using ARDUINO-UNO board. Which take a very less power. The system is a arduino-uno based home security system which contains a GSM modem and PIR sensor with servo-motor and a camera which provides a better security. The system can response rapidly as intruder enters into the trigged zone, PIR sensor sense the object and GSM module will send a notification as a SMS to the registered number of the home owner, and can also give a snapshot of that object. This security system for alerting a house owner wherever he will. In this system as a object enters into the zone GSM module produce a signal through a public telecom network and sends a message or redirect a call that that tells about your home update or predefined message which is embedded in arduino-uno board. Suspected activities are conveyed to remote user through SMS or Call using GSM technology.
As it is mentioned in its name it is a helmet with smart functionalities.It provides the users with high level safety to reduce the probability of two wheeler accidents and drunk drive cases.

The main purpose behind this project is “Drunk driving detection”. Now a days, many accidents are happening because of the alcohol consumption of the driver or the person who is driving the vehicle. Thus, Drunk driving is a major reason of accidents in almost all the countries in the world. Alcohol Detector in Car project is designed for the safety of the people seating inside the car. This project should be fitted / installed inside the vehicle. If any Accident occurs then engine goes off and Alarm goes on. If there is no alcohol / no accident, then the Engine remains on and Alarm remains off. Even, if the Alcohol is detected, the engine goes off Alarm starts beeping.

This presentation is based upon final year project supervised under the premises of cummins college of engineering for women, pune, on IoT based Accident Detection & Tracking System and also contributing towards smart healthcare sector, by initiating theologies of research or the ways of research can be taken out in this area aswell, to make this system further more intelligent on predictions conducted from the studies of statistics and machine learning, to automate this research from data log and system can be made smart supervisory, to contribute towards smart healthcare sector.

According to this project when a vehicle meets with an accident, immediately vibration sensor will detect the signal and sends it to ARM controller. Microcontroller sends the alert message through the GSM MODEM including the location to police control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the GPS MODEM after receiving the information.

2. INTRODUCTION
In today’s era, especially in the young generation, the craze to ride bike is
rapidly increasing. The middle class families prefer to buy two-wheeler over
four-wheeler because of their low price.
As the number of two-wheeler are increasing, road mishaps are also
increasing day by day. In the event of an accidents, serious head injuries and
lack of timely medical help can cause death.
Thus, there is a need for a system which ensures safety of rider by
enforcing rider to wear helmet as per government guidelines and also assist
in providing the rider for a medical assistance in the event of an accident.

HELMET MODULE
Arduino (ATMega328P): Arduino UNO is used as a controller part in our
project for both bike and helmet module. We have connected analog and digital
pins to IR sensors and Alcohol sensor and interface for wireless connection has
been established using arduino uno
IR sensor: IR sensor is used to detect the presence of an object. in project we
used 2 IR sensor which are connected to the digital pins of arduino. The 5V
power supply is been given to each sensor.
MQ-3 Alcohol Sensor- The analog pin of the alcohol sensor is connected to
arduino ‘s analog pin A0.
NRF24L01- It is a module which we used for wireless communication. It is a
7 pin module. It has a SPI interface and MOSI and MISO pins connected to
9,10,11,12 digital pins of arduino. A 3.3V power supply has been given to this
module.

BIKE MODULE
Vibration Sensor- Vibration sensor is used to detect accident. It
has a digital pins connected to the arduino and 5V supply has been
given to power up the vibration sensor.
GSM SIM900A- SIM900A is a 2G technology based GSM
module which is used to send a alert message based on the
situation occurred. It has a 12V supply and pins Tx and Rx pins are
connected serially with arduino pins 2 and 3
GPS Neo6mv2- GPS module is used to find the location of the
biker or an accident location. It has 3.3V supply given . Pins Tx
and Rx are connected to Rx and Tx pin of arduino respectively.

Thus this system is very effective for the safety purpose of the user. User
has to wear helmet to ride a bike and hence traffic rules will be followed by
the rider.
This system is under pocket control i.e. Riding the two wheeler vehicle
having safety in hand and in budget. This system has easy functionalities. It
provides a better security to the biker.
