SHRISTI Children’s Home in Nepal
A Beautiful World Organization
According to Nepali statistics, around 30-50% of the children
ranging from different age groups are not being educated, instead,
they are forced to stay home and help out with the house chores or
they are being sold as cheap child labor.
Many family are still living below the daily US$2 poverty line. Many
children are living in extremely poor living conditions and are
denied their rights to be educated.
Education is the best way to fight against poverty.
Ms. Su-Chin Lee founded “SHRISTI Children’s Home” to assist
the Nepalese children living in poverty by providing them with a
home and an opportunity to be educated.
SHRISTI, “to create” and “to innovate” in Nepali
This means that we at SHRISTI have a pressing need to
provide these underprivileged children with a loving home,
a life with dignity and goals, and a future with hope.
This is not an easy task and we need support from all of you.
Together we can build a loving and caring home for these
children at SHRISTI. We can SHRISTI (create) for them.

SHRISTI Daily Life
SHRISTI Education & Care
We will be renting a small piece of land where the children can
learn the basic faming skills by planting different kinds of
vegetables and raising animals. They will learn how to love and
care for others as well as the importance of working with each other.
We will be hiring a teacher who will be responsible for tutoring our
children. The teacher will be tutoring the children 2 times a day,
once in the morning, and once at night. The teacher will also be
responsible for planning extracurricular activities
We will be hiring a caretaker whose main job is to take care of
the children. The cook will be responsible for cooking and doing
the laundry and keeping the house clean and tidy along with the
children.

We will send our children to a school where they can learn the
necessary skills and knowledge to enter the society in the future.
Not only will we be monitoring their academic progress, we will also
be keeping a close eye on their psychological development.
SHRISTI Our Vision
Family is very important to every
child. Although each child will
eventually go back and reunite with
his family, they will continue to get
support and assistance from us.
This is very crucial, by continuing to
provide support and assistance, we
are helping and teaching the children
and their families to live a life away
from poverty.
Vocational skills training: Not only will the
children be equipped with the skills they need
to find a job in the future, and be self-
sustainable, they will also become role
models for our other children.
Give back to the community: By living in
our loving and caring home , when the
children grow up and become self-
sustainable, they will want to share their love
and resources with other families who are in
need , so that our project can continue to
benefit more and more people.
Spread love: We would like to spread our
love to all corners of the world so that we can
narrow the gap between the fortunate and the
less fortunate people.

SHRISTI Children’s Home in Nepal

  • 1. SHRISTI Children’s Home in Nepal A Beautiful World Organization
  • 2. According to Nepali statistics, around 30-50% of the children ranging from different age groups are not being educated, instead, they are forced to stay home and help out with the house chores or they are being sold as cheap child labor.
  • 3. Many family are still living below the daily US$2 poverty line. Many children are living in extremely poor living conditions and are denied their rights to be educated.
  • 4. Education is the best way to fight against poverty. Ms. Su-Chin Lee founded “SHRISTI Children’s Home” to assist the Nepalese children living in poverty by providing them with a home and an opportunity to be educated.
  • 5. SHRISTI, “to create” and “to innovate” in Nepali
  • 6. This means that we at SHRISTI have a pressing need to provide these underprivileged children with a loving home, a life with dignity and goals, and a future with hope.
  • 7. This is not an easy task and we need support from all of you. Together we can build a loving and caring home for these children at SHRISTI. We can SHRISTI (create) for them.

  • 17. SHRISTI Our Vision Family is very important to every child. Although each child will eventually go back and reunite with his family, they will continue to get support and assistance from us. This is very crucial, by continuing to provide support and assistance, we are helping and teaching the children and their families to live a life away from poverty.
  • 18. Vocational skills training: Not only will the children be equipped with the skills they need to find a job in the future, and be self- sustainable, they will also become role models for our other children. Give back to the community: By living in our loving and caring home , when the children grow up and become self- sustainable, they will want to share their love and resources with other families who are in need , so that our project can continue to benefit more and more people.
