The Savannah Fruits Company (SFC) is an organic shea butter exporter based in Ghana that works with organized women's groups. SFC believes business can produce social good and contribute to sustainability. SFC exports shea butter, works with over 5,000 women across 5 northern Ghanaian regions and the Western Region. It operates conventional and organic shea butter production models, with the organic groups being certified. SFC helps create livelihoods, supports sustainable wildlife management through partnerships with local groups, invests in restoring parklands to maintain shea supply, and promotes tree planting, firewood reduction, and energy efficient technologies like using shea cake waste to make briquettes.
