In any Organization, the three top operating costs are often found to be
energy (both electrical and thermal), labor and materials. Among the three,
energy has the highest potential for cost reduction. While efforts are being
made to improve availability of various energy sources, there is still a
continuing gap between demand and supply of energy. Conservation and
efficient utilization of energy resources play a vital role in narrowing the gap
between demand and supply of energy. Energy audit will help to understand
more about the ways energy is used in the industry, and help in identifying

Energy Audit: -
It is the verification, monitoring and analysis of use of energy including submission
of technical report containing recommendations for improving energy efficiency
with cost benefit analysis and an action plan to reduce energy consumption
The three main phase of the audit are:-
1. Preliminary Energy Audit: It is walk through audit & relatively quick

and always electrical system is a threat to safety of people and their property
in the form of shocks, burns, injury, fire and explosion which cause damage
to expensive Communication equipment, loss of data, fire in cable gallery,
etc.
Electrical Safety Audit is applicable for Industries, Power sector, Service

panels and to capture abnormal temperature profile – The Hot Spots with

 Fire Safety Audit
We may visit your premises and undertake a fire safety audit which is usually
prearranged and all fire safety inspectors will be in uniform and carry
identification.
The audit is an examination of the premises and relevant documents to
ascertain how the premises are being managed regarding fire safety. The
inspector may also wish to talk to members of staff to confirm their level of
fire safety awareness.
The emphasis is on the responsible person demonstrating they have met the
duties required by the fire safety order. For this reason we may ask to see
the following documents as evidence.
