The alien ship s thrusters fired as it shifted dimensions. At best it softened the
impact as the stationary craft was suddenly propelled forwards from an external

When people think math, most likely they will reminisce about sitting in a classroom
solving problems that they did not want to solve because for many people math is a
paradox. These thoughts go with calculations, numbers, formulas and disinterest. If I
were asked to describe math, I can say that it is soulless. But what happens when you
think about music and math? Well, there are all kinds of music that bring out many
emotions out of us. When we listen we can get happy, sad, mad, we listen while we
are driving, cleaning, running, and music can be present in many of our daily
routines. Music has soul. Now, math and music seem like complete opposites.
Although the connection is not obvious, math and music have a very close

mathematics and music were strongly connected. Music was considered as a strictly
math discipline, handling with number relationships, ratios and proportions. In the
quadrivium (the curriculum of the Pythagorean School) music was placed on the

A Repressive Society
For years, women have fought to get equal rights and create a society were women
and men are treated the same way. During the 1800s, society viewed men as the
person that was in charge of everything in the house, and he owned everything his
wife had, while women were just an object that was supposed to obey and please her
husband. Society during the 1800s caused Chopin to write about the issues that
women were suffering to create a change.
In the 1800s, society oppressed women in every aspect of their lives. Women did
not have an option when it came to going to work because they were always forced
to stay at home. According to the Cobblestone, women They devoted their lives to
caring, cooking... for their family and did not have time to pursue a career (Chorlian

women was to be at home and the role of a man was to work for their family.
