Self Esteem Tips

Fill Your Mind With Positive Thoughts

Here are few to get you started:
 I feel energetic and enthusiastic about my job prospects today.
 I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.
 Life is to be enjoyed, for each moment is new and refreshing.
 My job that I will be hired for allows me to convey my talents and abilities.
 I am grateful for this employment.

 All of my creative endeavors bring me a feeling
of happiness and a job well done.
 I am creating miracles in every area of
      my life right now.
More Affirmations
 My family and friends completely support me in finding the perfect
job at the perfect place right here and now.
 I think clearly and I can express myself with ease.
 I can imagine nervousness, anxiety or fearful thoughts
quickly leave my mind and are replaced with
  peaceful, calming thoughts like leaves
  gently falling off a tree.
 I am led to new ideas which enrich my life.
 My potential is unlimited!
 You go Girl! You can do it!
Visualize Success!
 See yourself in the position you desire. Imagine yourself
whole, well and powerful! Visualization is the process of
creating images in your mind to help bring positive things
  into your life.
 When you visualize, you are creating powerful thoughts and
  feelings of having it now.
 This is something that professional athletes use to prepare
for big events like the Olympic Games. Don’t be afraid to try
  it!
Get Off The Pity Pot

 If you feel sorry for yourself, set a timer, and limit it to
no more than 15 minutes a day. We all have our bad
days. But remember, that you can start your day over on
a positive note at any time.
Act As If

If you have a hard time feeling good, or feeling self-
confident, act as if you are, then eventually, it will become
your reality.
Remove Negative Thoughts
 When negative, despairing thoughts enter your mind,
imagine them exiting just like a dump truck filling up with
trash or dirt and taking it away.
 Immediately replace a positive statement in its’ place. “I am
totally at peace. I feel vibrantly alive!” “I am prosperous
and successful!” “I imagine all good things for
  ____________”.

 “I know health and vitality are mine!”
Free Yourself Of Everyday Toxicity

 Negative television shows, movies, media,
and yes, this may include the news.
 Watch shows that provide a good
   feeling or make you laugh!
 Laughter is a healthy release of stress and
  increases vitality.
 Listen to music that makes you feel good.
 Toxins also include: unhealthy foods,
   unhealthy habits or unhealthy
   relationships.
Clear Up Your Life

 Clearing up clutter in your personal life is a healthy way
to release things that you don’t need and help someone
else that may need it. If you have a sentimental
attachment, keep what is most important to you.
 If everything has a sentimental attachment, then it’s
necessary to look within yourself to see why you have a
need to save things in this manner. Cleaning and
clearing out creates a magnet to help good come into
  your life.
Release Stress

 Your body needs a release of pent up emotions and
other toxins. Not only will your body feel better, you will
reap the health benefits that are life changing.
 Even meditating or exercising for five minutes a day is
  beneficial.
Be Grateful

 Gratitude is a great way to change your life and increase
your self-esteem. Be grateful upon waking and sleeping.
Start a list of things you are grateful for each day.
Gratitude is a powerful process for shifting your energy
and bringing positive things into your life. If you are
grateful for what you already have, you will attract more
  good to you.
Be Happy

 As Abraham Lincoln said, “You are as happy as you
make up your mind to be!” If you make the effort to be
happy, chances are, the people around you will be
happy. Sometimes you have to just pretend to be happy
until you really start to feel it.
Avoid Criticizing Others

 People, places or things, both publicly and in your mind.

 When you find yourself criticizing someone else, replace
the complaint with five positive things you can think
  about that person.
Reframe

 Reframe-reframing is to see a situation in a different light.
 If you have painful memories from your past, try to see the
positive outcome and how you were able to overcome the
situation, then, let it go. Dwelling on past experiences
prevents you from being fully present in the now.
What to Do When You Get
               Depressed
 Accept the reality of the situation.
Try not to slip into denial or pretend it didn’t happen.
 Focus on something else.
Read a book, watch a movie or go for a walk.
 If you spiral into self-despair, read a positive or uplifting
book or read some positive affirmations.
Affirmations
 I feel strong and confident.
 I know I can get through this difficult time. I know I can
  change my thinking.
 I may not have received this job, but I know something
much better is in store for me.
 I trust and relax knowing that in this
 great universe, all is well.
 My way is being made clear.
Practice Gratitude

 Make a list of everything you have in your life to be
grateful for. If you can’t think of anything start with
two items that are simple like, “I am grateful I have a
comfortable bed to sleep in at night.” “I am grateful I
have a good meal this evening.”
 Move Forward. After some time on the pity pot (limit
to no more than 15 minutes) let it go.
Eliminate Depressing
                    Thoughts
Imagine the negative or defeating thought floating out of your
mind on a cloud, then focus on three things about yourself that are
positive.
Keep the list in your pocket for a few days to help
you stay on track throughout the day.
Seek social support by visiting a friend,
or reach out and do some volunteering for a
non-profit organization.
This is a surefire way to get your mind off
things and feel good about what you are doing.
