May you have the capability, strength and discipline to live your life from the inside out, and may you maintain a firm belief in yourself and in others with whom you come in contact. You are the author of your future; may you live the life of your dreams.
All I ask is that you take your time reading this book, take it all in at your own pace, and try not to get overwhelmed, as there are several ways you can do things when it comes to living a life with holistic wellness. There is no right or wrong way to think about what you feel you are most comfortable doing.
This is something I felt the need to share because of the times we are currently living in. Now being in my early sixties, and given time to reflect, I believe it will be helpful to the world.

Take 15 - 45 minutes to brain dump everything you can think of on a blank sheet of paper.
This is where you can first start to utilize the benefits of writing in your journal. Your journal is your private place to write down your thoughts to help organize your life, clear your head, and prioritize your thoughts and plan your life, before you go to your planner to schedule your day accordingly.
In particular, writing what you may have just dreamed about the night before. Start your day with the focus of an eagle by writing out everything that’s in your heart and mind.
Because we’re so busy with everything in life as a whole, we can get overwhelmed and stressed out. Brain dumping will help out greatly in this regard.
Because brain dumping clears your mind. Recording all of your thoughts and feelings someplace else allows you to get it out of your head, to stop thinking about it. The entire process also helps you determine which thoughts, feelings, and ideas are important and which ones you can let go of.
“Mental health” refers to your overall psychological well-being. It includes the way you feel about yourself, the quality of your relationships, and your ability to manage your feelings and deal with difficulties.
Anyone can experience mental or emotional health problems — and over a lifetime, many of us will. I believe I read somewhere that one in five adults in the western world live with mental health or substance abuse problems.
Even if that is not precisely so, we can all agree that there are too many people who unfortunately experience these difficulties.
Here are 10 tips that can help you elevate your mood, become more resilient, and enjoy life more: make social connections; stay active; talk to someone; appeal to your senses; take up a relaxation practice; make leisure and contemplation a priority; talk to someone; Eat a brain-healthy diet to support strong mental health; don’t skimp on sleep; find purpose and meaning for your life; and get help if you need it.

3. Set aside one hour every morning for personal development matters. Meditate, visualize your day, read inspirational texts to set the tone of your day, listen to motivational tapes or read great literature. Starting the day off well is a powerful strategy for self renewal .
4. Laugh for five minutes in the mirror each morning. Laughter activates many beneficial chemicals within the body that place us into a very joyous state. Laughter also returns the body to a state of balance. A 4 year old laughs 500 times a day while the average adult is lucky to laugh 15 times a day.
5. Set aside every Sunday evening for yourself and your family and be strongly disciplined with this habit.
6. To enhance your concentration and power of focus, count your steps when you walk. This is a particularly strong technique. so many people allow their minds to be filled with mental chatter. All peak performers appreciate the power of a quiet clear mind which will concentrate steadily on all important tasks.
7. Enhance your will-power. You must first exercise it and then push before it gets stronger. When you are hungry, wait another hour before your meal. When you are labouring over a difficult task and your mind is prompting you to pick up the latest magazine for a break , curb the impulse. Soon you will be able to sit for hours in a precisely concentrated state. Newton had a remarkable ability to sit quietly and think without interruption for a very long period of time. If he can develop this so can you.
8. Never discuss your health, wealth and other personal matters with anyone outside your immediate family. Be very disciplined in this regard.
9. Cultivate the art of walking half an hour after your dinner. Walks in natural settings are the very best. Walking is, perhaps, nature’s ideal exercise.
10. Be careful about your reputation. Never do anything you wouldn’t be proud to tell your mother about. Have fun always but temper it with common sense and prudence.
11. Become your spouse”s number one supporter, the one who is always there supporting and fueling hopes and dreams. Develop together and march confidently through the world as an army of two.
12. Spend time with Nature. Natural settings have a powerful effect on your senses which in turn will lead to a sense of renewal, refreshment and peacefulness.
13. Try fasting one day every two weeks. During these fast days, drink fruit juice and eat fresh fruits only. You will feel more energetic, cleansed and alert.
14. Drown your appetite by drinking more water – ten glasses a day is ideal. It revitalizes the system and purifies the body. Also get into the habit of eating soups and more complex carbohydrates such as rise, potatoes than other less healthy foods.
15. A contented mind is a continual feast. Greed and material desires must be curbed to achieve lasting happiness and serenity. Be happy with what you have.
16. Every day, get away from the noise, the crowds and the rush and spend a few hours alone in peaceful introspection, deep reading or simple relaxation.
17. Empty your cup. A full cup cannot accept anything more. Similarly, a person who believes that he cannot learn anything else will stagnate quickly and not move to higher levels. Even the teachers have teachers.

23. Keep well-informed about current events, the latest books and popular trends. Many peak performers read five or six papers a day. You don’t have to read every story of every paper. Know what to focus on.
