This document describes the different sections of a library and their responsibilities. The Cataloguing Section keeps records of all books and purchases new materials. It also classifies and catalogs books. The Circulation Section registers members, issues cards/materials, collects fines, and helps users find references. The Reference Section houses resources like encyclopedias, dictionaries, and atlases. The Periodical Section provides newspapers and magazines.

library.

4. This section is responsible for
several tasks such as
registering new members and
renewing old ones, issuing
borrower’s cards and reading
materials, collecting fines, and
many more.

5. The Circulation
Section is in-charge
of helping users find
the references
they’re looking for.

6. This section houses the
visual aids, microfilms and
computers of the library.
Photocopying machines ,
scanners, DVD/CD player and
a television are found in this
section

7. This serves as the
home of encyclopaedias,
dictionaries, handbooks,
atlases, almanacs and
more.

8. This is where you can
find local and
international
newspapers and
magazines.
