The savanna biome has a distinct wet-dry climate, located between grasslands and forests in various regions including Africa, South America, India, and Australia. It is home to a wide variety of animals like wildebeest, zebras, elephants and also contains plant species such as acacia trees, baobab trees, and grasses. Savanna plants and animals are adapted to the dry conditions through features like deep root systems, thick bark, deciduousness, and use of trunks to store water.
