The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.

1The scene starts in location 1, with LAUREN walking round
2her bedroom listening to music while on her phone.
SCENE 2: EXT, BRAD’S HOUSE (LOCATION 2), DAY TIME
3It then cuts to location 2, with BRAD walking into his
house with Boxes, he’s moving into his new house today.
SCENE 3: INT, LAUREN’S BEDROOM (LOCATION 1), DAY TIME
4It then cuts back to LAUREN in location 1, where she is now
laid on her bed on the phone to her best friend RUBY,
5giggling and playing with her hair.
SCENE 4: INT, BRAD’S BEDROOM (LOCATION 3), DAY TIME
6It then cuts back to BRAD who is now in his bedroom waking
around sorting the boxes. He then sits down on his bed,
7picks up his phone to check if he has any messages from
8anyone. He realises he doesn’t have any messages, sighs.
SCENE 5: INT, LAUREN’S BEDROOM (LOCATION 1), NIGHT TIME
9It then cuts back to LAUREN who is still on her phone,
hours later, and has loads of messages from boys. She is
opening the snapchats and replying to them all.
SCENE 6: INT, BRAD’S BEDROOM (LOCATION 3), NIGHT TIME
10Cuts back to BRAD who is sat up on his bed with only his
bedside light on now. He is starring at his phone which has
11no new messages. He puts his phone back and flops his head
12onto his pillow to go to sleep.

13It’s now the next day and LAUREN is stood in the school
hallway leaning up against the lockers talking to her best
friend RUBY.
LAUREN
OMG! I was talking to Tom again last night
and we spoke for like ten minutes straight
before he read me off.
RUBY
What happened to Luke, I thought you were
getting with him, weren’t you meant to
have seen him on Saturday?
LAUREN
Oh Luke was so last week, I saw him on
Saturday, got what I wanted and tossed him
just like the rest.
RUBY
14Ahh, so Tom’s your next target?
LAUREN
Target?! You say that like it’s a bad
thing?
15LAUREN leans into RUBY and can’t believe that she is
accusing her.
RUBY
Well I mean, don’t you think you should
just find a guy and stick with him rather
than being a dick and messing them around.
LAUREN
Well I mean I don’t just….
16As LAUREN is speaking to RUBY she pauses mid-sentence as
she realizes a guy who she’s never seen before. She stares
at him as he walks past.

RUBY
OMG! That must be the new guy everyone was
talking about. I’ve heard he’s meant to be
so awkward.
LAUREN
17Well, we’ll see about that.

18Lauren is sat on her bed trying to find BRAD on Instagram
so she can message him.
Message appears on screen when she finishes typing.
LAUREN
(Typing on phone)
Hey! Noticed you today, just wondered if
you noticed me too, winky face emoji.
SCENE 9: INT, BRAD’S BEDROOM (LOCATION 3), NIGHT TIME
19BRAD sees the message pop up on his phone. He gasps and
does a double take of his phone, he’s not used to girls
messaging him. He looks down wants more and reads out the
message.
BRAD
Hey! Noticed you today, just wondered if
you noticed me too, winky face emoji.
20BRAD looks up with a confused, awkward expression and
starts thinking about what he’s going to reply

the corridor

LAUREN

30There is a slight awkwardness and neither of them knows
what to say. They’re looking around thinking of something
to say.
LAUREN
So, do you like wanna come back to mine
now then?
BRAD

LAUREN
Isn’t that what we’re doing though?

LAUREN
Well no one ever wants anything else from

34LAUREN is sat in her room trying to put together a message
to send to BRAD. She’s reading the message aloud as she
types.
LAUREN

Brad, I didn’t want to come across
forceful today… you can just send me
something now if you want, winky face.

35BRAD sees the message from LAUREN and raises his eyebrows.
He didn’t think he’d get a message like this after what
happened earlier that day.

thought what she was doing was normal and what everyone

LAUREN
(To herself)I don’t know what I’m doing, I
can’t just tell him that I actually like
him can I. I don’t know what to do in
these situations, he’ll just think I’m
joking.
SCENE 19: INT, SCHOOL HALLWAY (LOCATION 4), DAY TIME

LAUREN and RUBY are stood by the lockers. LAUREN is
thinking to herself about how she thinks she’s going to
tell BRAD how she really feels about him today.
RUBY
So… how was Brad, did anything happen.
LAUREN
Well… Yeah… nothing much.
RUBY
Got him wrapped around your little finger
like the rest?
LAUREN
40That’s not all I am you know, I am
capable of having real feelings for a boy.
RUBY
Right, I’ll believe it when I see it.
41LAUREN rolls her eyes at RUBY as she walks away, she then
starts looking out for BRAD.
42BRAD then starts walking round the corner, catches sight
of LAUREN and swiftly walks past.
43LAUREN runs after him and grabs his arm to stop him
walking away.
LAUREN
Hey Brad! Please wait.
BRAD
What, so you can ask to see my dick again?
LAUREN
No! It was a misunderstanding yesterday…

44LAUREN looks round to see who’s around that could hear
her.
LAUREN
Well I basically just got this reputation
for myself by accident and now I don’t

BRAD

that’s the only way to get a guy, not all
guys are into that you know.
LAUREN

46LAUREN stops mid-sentence and she realises what she just
said. Brad lifts his eyebrows at her.
BRAD
Sorry… what was that?
LAUREN
I ummm… ummm, nothing
47LAUREN turns to walk away out of embarrassment. BRAD grabs
her to stop her.
48LAUREN turns around, looks at BRAD in the eyes and
freezes.
49BRAD leans in for a kiss and LAUREN kisses him back.

51RUBY is looking through the door in shock, she enters.
RUBY

LAUREN
I’m sorry? What do you mean ‘that’s not

52RUBY realises what she’s said and turns awkward and
embarrassed.
RUBY
I umm it doesn’t matter
LAUREN
Ruby!
RUBY
Well we had a thing going on didn’t we…

53LAUREN freezes and takes a minute to process what
she’s just heard.
LAUREN
So you’re basically saying that you wait
for me to find a guy, wait until I’m done
with them then you have a go as well.
RUBY

So I’m guessing it’s going to be a while
