Paul Wilkinson gave a presentation on construction collaboration technologies ranging from email to BIM. He discussed how the industry has evolved from using paper and fax to online file sharing and extranets. BIM was introduced as going beyond 2D and 3D by including time, cost, and other project data. Wilkinson explained that BIM is an important process now being adopted in the UK to improve project delivery and reduce costs through more collaborative ways of working across the entire lifecycle of a project. OPEN BIM and BIM libraries were also mentioned as helping to improve interoperability.
This document discusses the importance of Employers Information Requirements (EIR) for Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects. It notes that without clear requirements, some project parties may opt out of full BIM collaboration, missing opportunities for overall project benefits. The document recommends that clients, as the paying party, should specify their information and process needs to achieve better outcomes related to scope, cost, time, quality and value. It also summarizes some problems with traditional fragmented and paper-based approaches to managing building information.

Project Planning Organising Tracking ConstructionDavid H Moloney
Ā
The aim of this book is to show construction information relevant to planning, organising and tracking progress, graphically, focusing on the essential facts that can be easily discussed, communicated and implemented.
Regarding the illustrations showing construction sequences (storyboards), the approach is to find the easiest, quickest and safest way to execute a project with maximum utilisation of the employed resources also ensuring that executed work is right first time.
Gantt type chart programmes show the sequence and durations. Storyboards can show the sequence, durations along with how to build an operation graphically in a way that all team members along with operatives on site can understand leading to a collaborative effort.
This book deals mainly with heavy Civils and structures, the details and outputs are for guidance, each case should be evaluated separately allowing for particular site conditions.
This document discusses the challenges facing the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry and how building information modeling (BIM) can help address them. It defines BIM and explains how it changes the nature of practice by integrating the design process. BIM allows for better visualization, coordination, analysis and supply chain integration. Firms can take a horizontal, vertical or progressive approach to adopting BIM. BIM improves productivity and accuracy by focusing on the building model rather than traditional drawings.

The Evolution and Impact of OTT Platforms: A Deep Dive into the Future of Ent...ABHILASH DUTTA
Ā
This presentation provides a thorough examination of Over-the-Top (OTT) platforms, focusing on their development and substantial influence on the entertainment industry, with a particular emphasis on the Indian market. We begin with an introduction to OTT platforms, defining them as streaming services that deliver content directly over the internet, bypassing traditional broadcast channels. These platforms offer a variety of content, including movies, TV shows, and original productions, allowing users to access content on-demand across multiple devices. The historical context covers the early days of streaming, starting with Netflix's inception in 1997 as a DVD rental service and its transition to streaming in 2007. The presentation also highlights India's television journey, from the launch of Doordarshan in 1959 to the introduction of Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite television in 2000, which expanded viewing choices and set the stage for the rise of OTT platforms like Big Flix, Ditto TV, Sony LIV, Hotstar, and Netflix. The business models of OTT platforms are explored in detail. Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) models, exemplified by Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, offer unlimited content access for a monthly fee. Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD) models, like iTunes and Sky Box Office, allow users to pay for individual pieces of content. Advertising-Based Video on Demand (AVOD) models, such as YouTube and Facebook Watch, provide free content supported by advertisements. Hybrid models combine elements of SVOD and AVOD, offering flexibility to cater to diverse audience preferences.
Content acquisition strategies are also discussed, highlighting the dual approach of purchasing broadcasting rights for existing films and TV shows and investing in original content production. This section underscores the importance of a robust content library in attracting and retaining subscribers. The presentation addresses the challenges faced by OTT platforms, including the unpredictability of content acquisition and audience preferences. It emphasizes the difficulty of balancing content investment with returns in a competitive market, the high costs associated with marketing, and the need for continuous innovation and adaptation to stay relevant.
The impact of OTT platforms on the Bollywood film industry is significant. The competition for viewers has led to a decrease in cinema ticket sales, affecting the revenue of Bollywood films that traditionally rely on theatrical releases. Additionally, OTT platforms now pay less for film rights due to the uncertain success of films in cinemas.
Looking ahead, the future of OTT in India appears promising. The market is expected to grow by 20% annually, reaching a value of ā¹1200 billion by the end of the decade. The increasing availability of affordable smartphones and internet access will drive this growth, making OTT platforms a primary source of entertainment for many viewers.

We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
ā¢ Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
ā¢ Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
ā¢ Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
ā¢ Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
ā¢ Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

In this section we will describe one
Method Called VRD
First Method

14. Scale Considerations
ā¢ When reviewing the valuation of the parts of a dynamic
system such as our portfolio instance we find metric
conversion on a time and motion basis that point back to
our original plait of the process. See below.
ā¢ When the Ark Plait went upscale from the Digital Plait
another level of Time and Motion Motivation had to be
supplied. If you notice on Slide 2, we increased volume with
another +32 e-plait of 12 Sigma+ (see Slide 13 for example)
First Instance
^ Our First Instance is pre-Baseline and is referred to as RB restructured beta; Its scale is in 3 terms while the Ark is in 4+ terms for a scale that
is 1,000,000 times digital (12-18 Sigma), the digital then delivers Instances that transitioned upscale from 3 to 4 terms (9-12 Sigma.)
Adding to the Time and
Motion Requirement is an
Engineering Problem
This is the kind of problem that Tesla
and Edison were having in Power
Distribution. That has to do with
Load Bearing and Fabrication.
9/24/2020 Brij Consulting, Jean Marshall 14
15. Working With
Instances
ā¢ Instances are required on both types of Platforms, both Digital
and Ark, in order to make more complex design and products.
ā¢ Many types of Products will require advanced production
methods where speed, precision and moving multiple tiers and
layers into a well considered whole, belong to working with both
manifold time and gated instances.
ā¢ Often to keep a product functioning in a remote location a
localized version of the time plait must be installed. To do this
light particles are motivated in a stream that circulates with
timing and event scripting.
ā¢ Incongruity in small points can make large disjointed operations
in the larger sense. Looking ahead and behind the problem we
can see that Gates enter into the Transition of Scale as well.
15
Working with Instances
and configuring timing
of moving parts is an
engineering problem
309 x2
16. When Gates are Required
ā¢ Tiers do not need Gates, but separate Instances do.
Using Forms is another kind of Engineering in the
Meta Domain of the Computer.
ā¢ Utilizing Exterior Structures to apply force and
combine elements is a use of industrial physics and
requires Safety and other measures. These measures
also ensure a compliant process.
ā¢ Digital Portals require Instances and Gates to load and
make products. If the product does not leave the
ground and can follow a tracked formation, Gates are
not necessary, only checkpoints.
Loading, Leveraging,
Motivating and Timing
are Engineering
Problems when Force is
Applied
9/24/2020 Brij Consulting, Jean Marshall 16
17. Gates and Instances Defined
ā¢ When Gates and Instances are required to make a product, the product making
requirement has to be in a separated composite based station and formulated to apply a
double down pattern of force to make its utility function.
ā¢ A product leaves the ground when it is conveyed, and it needs to be lifted. Applying
forces of leverage and lift, utilizing elements or light streams place the application of
production into the realm of an industrial engineering requirement.
ā¢ A manifold delivery system requires an underground facility or a space station (not
discussed.)
ā¢ A ābottle-breakā system is a time-based system that establishes an immediate break of
the timing system when the stage of events is completed. Generally these processes
have a critical path and staging of events that are circular but non-looping upon the
product state of events (i.e. going back or forth to prior or future stages.)
ā¢ When a vacuum is applied it can be considered a reverse time process, and this is
because there is an asynchronous orbit of a light stream necessary or some unique
need. These are more dangerous and canāt be performed in the routine industrial
setting.
ā¢ In the Research and mapping sense we should start work in the mini-world of gated
electronics before we advance to bigger things. Graphic capability is a good mapping
strategy. The mini-world has scale and load to it that we can work with. By emulating
this and apportioning it, we can come to another platform as we have been learning to
do between digital and ark. By testing we can improve many things.

18. Principles of
VRD and Foil
Concept
ā¢ Foil is a process that is applied upwards from the Ground or the Basis upon which a Product is applied.
ā¢ Foil is shaped or fabricated āon the basisā of wrapping around another instance which is distributed with
the characteristics of the requirement. In addition an adequate time distribution is necessary in order
that the Instances in taking a particular strata are correlated to a time plait of realistic proportions.
ā¢ The way foil plaits are done is only in the interest of getting an even and deliverable plait and make no
mathematical or reasonable sense in View of the project, until we apply the product and see it has an
appropriate settlement in it.
ā¢ The First VRD Distribution we did was in answering this question:
I. Based on the Timeline of Discovery what is the most likely Scenario for the Demand based distribution of
these Products? Slide 5 is distributed by the VRD Methodology on the component charts listed below.
II. Our Distribution later changed based on the Supply Side of the Equation. What Products do we offer and
when can we be expected to produce them? We used other Foil Methods for this.
ā¢ The BASIS upon which VRD is performed should not be Biased and the time distribution should be from
the best available strata of congruous time distribution available. If it is found to be lacking it should be
immediately changed to offset problems of incongruity if possible. This is based on the significance of
the plait to the study or to the nature of the work at hand.
ā¢ Our Plait developed inhouse has worked on an example basis. A better plait may come from reworking
a previous confident distribution within the domain of the engineer, financial or otherwise.
This Plait is strictly done to
bifurcate a product offering to
instance the products and does not
equip an engineering foil with its
energy means. It apportions for
scrum tasking and delivery.
Now Financial
Engineering does
its part.

19. Unknown Demand Schedule
An Unknown Demand Distribution means you donāt know when the
business will begin operating or the products be serviceable to the
marketplace. By setting a pro forma distribution you can apply a
tentative plan and interest people in your Plan. To obtain funding
you need a Plan and a reasonable demand plot of the market you
can attract, and help engineering acquire an appropriate design
concept for it. You may define your internal setup then.

This is not a professional

capability on the data.

earth.
13On the very same day, Noah and his sons Shem, Ham, and
Japheth, and Noahās wife, and the three wives of Noahās sons had
entered the ark,
14together with every kind of wild animal, every kind of tame
animal, every kind of crawling thing that crawls on the earth, and
every kind of bird.
15Pairs of all creatures in which there was the breath of life came
to Noah into the ark.
16Those that entered were male and female; of all creatures
they came, as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD shut
him in.
17The flood continued upon the earth for forty days. As the
waters increased, they lifted the ark, so that it rose above the
earth.

Reference networks
Main article: Geodetic network
A diagram of survey markers running along a shoreline.
A survey using traverse and offset measurements to record the location of the shoreline shown in
blue. Black dashed lines are traverse measurements between reference points (black circles). The
red lines are offsets measured at right angles to the traverse lines.
Few survey positions are derived from first principles. Instead, most surveys points are measured
relative to previous measured points. This forms a reference or control network where each point
can be used by a surveyor to determine their own position when beginning a new survey.
Once the surveyor has calculated the level of the errors in his or her work, it is adjusted. This is the
process of distributing the error between all measurements. Each observation is weighted
according to how much of the total error it is likely to have caused and part of that error is allocated
to it in a proportional way. The most common methods of adjustment are the Bowditch method,
also known as the compass rule, and the principle of least squares method.
The surveyor must be able to distinguish between accuracy and precision. In the United States,
surveyors and civil engineers use units of feet wherein a survey foot breaks down into 10ths and
100ths. Many deed descriptions containing distances are often expressed using these units
(125.25 ft). On the subject of accuracy, surveyors are often held to a standard of one one-
hundredth of a foot; about 1/8 inch. Calculation and mapping tolerances are much smaller wherein
achieving near-perfect closures are desired. Though tolerances will vary from project to project, in
the field and day to day usage beyond a 100th of a foot is often impractical.
Plane surveying assumes the earth is flat. Curvature and spheroidal shape of the earth is neglected.
In this type of surveying all triangles formed by joining survey lines are considered as plane
triangles. It is employed for small survey works where errors due to the earth's shape are too small
to matter.[15]
In geodetic surveying the curvature of the earth is taken into account while calculating reduced
levels, angles, bearings and distances. This type of surveying is usually employed for large survey
works. Survey works up to 100 square miles (260 square kilometers ) are treated as plane and
beyond that are treated as geodetic.[16] In geodetic surveying necessary corrections are applied to
reduced levels, bearings and other observations.[17]

ā¢Survey Position II: We have emulated 8 to 10 years but not all in complete model
emulation some are interpolated by financial circumspection.

ā¢Survey Position III: Foil is also an Energy Based Property, but we have not come to
that argument as appropriated to our effort, only as a product necessity
