A Step-By-Step Introduction to SAS Report ProcedureYesAnalytics
The presentation of data is an essential part of every analytics project and there are number of tools within SAS that allows to create a large variety of charts, reports, and data summaries.
PROC REPORT is a particularly powerful and valuable procedure that can be used in this process. It can be used to both summarize and display data, and is highly customizable and highly flexible. It combines features of the PRINT, MEANS, and TABULATE procedures with features of the DATA step.
Here is a step by step introduction to Report Procedure which walks through the PROC REPORT statement and a few of its key options.

Graphs made easy with SAS ODS Graphics Designer (PAPER)Kevin Lee
Graphs can provide the visual patterns and clarities that are not apparent in tables and listings, but sometimes it takes too long to create ones. Now, The ODS Graphics Designer makes it much easier. The paper is intended for Clinical Trial SAS® programmers who are interested in creating graphs using ODS Graphics Designer. The ODS Graphics Designer is a SAS/GRAPH GUI based interactive tool. The codes in ODS Graphics Designer are based on the Graph Template Language (GTL), but SAS programmers can create graphs using its point-and-click interaction without any programming. The ODS Graphics Designer allows SAS programmers to create many kinds of graphs such as scatter plots, series plots, step plot, histogram, box and more. The paper will show how to start the ODS Graphics Designer in SAS. The paper will also show how easy to create simple or complex graphs using the designer and how to enhance graphs using other features such as legends, cell properties, plot properties and so on. The paper will demonstrate how to create GTL and template codes from designer that will also create the exact graphs in SAS programming. The setting is set up in CDISC environment, so ADaM datasets will be used as source data.
SAS Ron Cody Solutions for even Number problems from Chapter 7 to 15Ayapparaj SKS
I have added answers to exercise sums (chapters 7 to 15 - even number problems) for Ron Cody's Learning SAS by Example Programmer's Guide.
In seventh chapter i gathered knowledge about using conditional statements such as IF, ELSE IF, WHERE, SELECT , sub-setting with the help of the above statements and using Boolean operators. In eighth chapter i gathered knowledge about using DO, DO WHILE, DO UNTIL along with LEAVE and CONTINUE statements and also to make a simple gplot. Ninth chapter talks about dealing with dates, finding the difference with respect to day, weekday, month, year and also computing difference quarterly, imputing missing values etc., using various functions and also to make qplot.Tenth chapter talks mainly about merging two datasets and subsetting using IN= function, updating a master table using another table and much more.Eleventh chapter talks about Functions to round and truncate numerical values, missing values, computing constant values, generating random values, to fetch values from previous observations etc.
Chapter twelve talks about functions dealing with manipulating characters. Chapter thirteen talks about array functions. Chapter Fourteen mainly deals with presenting the data. Fifteen is about generating reports.
MapGuide Open Source includes a symbolization engine that allows users to define custom libraries of dynamic, expression-driven symbols for everything from highway shields to utility network symbology. This slideshow provides an overview of the new XML Symbol formats and shows participants how to define symbols in XML and use them to stylize feature data in MapGuide. In the class, participants will see how to create a small symbol library and use the symbols for styling points, lines, and labels in MapGuide.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
