The document discusses a study conducted by Future Classroom Labs in Finland on monitoring environmental conditions like sound pressure and carbon dioxide levels in classrooms. Sensors were used to collect data on these measures from both open and traditional classrooms. Results showed that while sound pressure levels were similar, the open classroom maintained lower and steadier carbon dioxide levels compared to the traditional classroom where levels peaked higher. The labs are working to commercialize affordable sensor solutions for schools to monitor indoor air quality and volume. Contact information is provided for the two Future Classroom Labs in Tampere and Joensuu.
