  • 5. 3. Needs of Our Students Communication Skills: Improving students' communication abilities in diverse, intergenerational settings. Empathy Development: Fostering empathy for the elderly and those with Down Syndrome, helping students understand their experiences. Intergenerational Experience: Overcoming students' lack of interaction with the elderly and individuals with disabilities to build understanding and empathy. Awareness of Diversity: Raising consciousness about generational and individual differences. Respectful Attitudes: Promoting respect and understanding for the elderly and individuals with Down Syndrome. Creativity: Encouraging creativity and critical thinking through activities like escape rooms, LEGO, and creative writing.

  • 8. 5. Alignment with Sustainable Development Goals: Health and Well- being: Addressing mental and physical health through intergenerational activities. Quality Education: Providing diverse educational experiences that go beyond traditional classroom learning. Reduction of Inequalities: Focusing on reducing social and educational disparities among students, the elderly, and individuals with Down Syndrome.
