Here is a sample cover showing a potential layout for a cover of
magazine, the cover contains a main image (often showing the
main subject of the headline) that fills the background and links
directly to the main headline shown in bolder text than the rest of
the writing. There is also a plug on the header to grab the
attention of the reader which sits just above the ‘inD’
masthead/logo that adds to the recognisable brand identity.
Nearer the bottom of the cover is the sub headline accompanied
by a sub image.

Here is the layout of my contents page with a large image in the top
left corner with text giving the page numbers of each article present
in the magazine to the right of and below the image. Separating the
column of text on the right hand side are two smaller images that
add to the visual side of the contents.

Here is the layout of my double page spread
with one large filling the entire left hand side
of the spread showing the subject of the
article to the right. There is also a large
banner/headline that goes across both pages
advertising the story. The right hand side of
the spread will contain two smaller images
and a fairly large amount of small text set out
in a simple and easy format that gives a sleek
look to the page.
