Safety Coordinator for Mac Dougall Steel Erectors. Presently working in Northern Alberta on CNRL Horizon oils sands
project. Responsible for toolbox talks, incident, accident investigation and associated reports , FLRA’s and JHA’s and site
visit re hazard identification etc and worker compliance to safety requirements. Ensure that contractors are compliant with
company Zone requirements Responsible for liaison with prime contractor and owner of project, CNRL Project finished
laid off.
2009 to 2014
Operations and Teaching Overhead Crane Operators Safety Course for Atlantic crane in N.B. and N. S., I have my Train
The Trainer certification.
Safety officer responsible for the COR program (loss control & loss control audits ) tool box, site visits, hazard analysis,
accident / incident investigation etc.

Member of the Safety Team for Commissioning the new LNG plant . I am certified for gas inspection, confined space
rescue, breathing apparatus fitting and Air Technician.
I have worked in LNG plants, commissioning on safety team, Oil refinery’s shut downs and Pulp and Paper plants.
Atlantic Crane and Material Handling 2008-2009)
Operations manager for the Saint John Branch. Involved with Data entry, shop control Etc. safety manager for the Saint
John operation and interfaced with Safety New Brunswick.
I obtained my Overhead Crane Instructor certificate with ACTI and taught to various companies such as AECL, NB
Power Etc.
The course includes overhead cranes, chain hoists & pullers, rigging and rigging inspections, load calculations etc.
Debly Enterprises Ltd. (2007)
Project manager in the construction division. Managed various projects in road, asphalt and site preparation. I
managed crews 10 – 20) and provided liaison between contractors and engineering firms as required. Seasonal
only.
Godfrey and Associates (1999 – 2007)
Associated with the survey and construction divisions doing inspections for road building, asphalt. pipe work etc.
Interfacing with the individual contractors was also in my portfolio. I was also involved in extensive survey work
September 1997 to June 1999 Heveco Limited, Sales & Mktg. Mgr. Canada & International
.Answering to the President, the General Manager and the Board of Directors I assumed responsibility for the Canadian and
International markets. Along with my regular sales and marketing efforts in Canada ( N. B., N. S. NFLD., Ontario ) I was responsible
for a large distributor network throughout the International market place, Europe, South America, Japan and China / Taiwan. Products
were Peat Moss & Peat Moss Mixes manufactured from Vacuum and Block Cut peat moss for the Professional Growers.
Accomplishments: Established distribution channels in South America ( Chile ) and increased business to the Asian
market place ( Taiwan, China and Japan ). Designed company logo, technical literature and interactive CD
Rom. Provided increased creditability, market share in Canada with new customer base that included
professional growers, brokers and Garden centers.
4. 1981 To 1997 Northern Telecom Canada, Sales Manager Transmission
As Regional Sales Manager for fiber optic equipment, fiber optic cable, digital radio, outside plant equipment etc.. I was
responsible for the development and execution of business plans. Sales and marketing strategies, analysis of sales and
market shares to ensure positive positioning of the company. Development of accurate forecasts to stimulate
manufacturing, identification of new product opportunities, sale of product to specific accounts in the telephony market
place. ( Office Down sized )
Accomplishments: Increased presence, sales and market shares. Market shares within Atlantic accounts maintained
between 80 and 100 percent depending on product line. Average sales per year during my tenure were 4 millions. I
received Presidential recommendations for maintaining sales above 12 millions for the complete Atlantic area for two
years. Staff management, consisting of administrative and engineers.
